Cooper Adds Emergency Roadside Service for Fleets

Oct. 20, 2015

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has added 24/7 emergency roadside tire replacement and repair for eligible commercial trucking fleets that are part of the Roadmaster national account program. The new service is called Roadmaster Fleet Service Network.

Cooper says the Roadmaster Fleet Service Network applies consistent pricing for tire and services across the country regardless of location and provides the ease of direct billing.

“With fleets, it’s all about being operational around the clock. Downtime really costs,” says Gary Schroeder, Cooper’s director of commercial vehicle and OEM sales for Roadmaster.

“Our new emergency roadside service keeps our customers rolling day and night. The best news is they won’t pay anything different to get back on the road whether they are stuck in the Carolinas or in California. The price is consistent regardless of location and we make account management easy with direct billing. One call to 1.844 FLEET RX gets it done!”

The company remains dedicated to growing its Roadmaster commercial truck tire business, according to Schroeder. “Not only are we introducing the new Roadmaster Fleet Service Network, but we have also invested in a sales and field engineering team focused exclusively on the commercial trucking business.”

The new sales and field engineering team brings decades of experience in servicing national accounts to the company’s fleet customers. “Our Roadmaster tires provide long miles and are backed by a warranty that offers two retreads within six years. These strengths, combined with our attractive pricing, mean Roadmaster drives down cost-per-mile for our customers. That’s our goal,” says Schroeder.
