Monro posted net income of $18.8 million on net sales of $236.5 million for its first quarter ended June 27, 2015. In its financial release for the first quarter, the company stated it has more than 10 non-disclosure agreements in the hopper.
John Van Heel, CEO and president of Monro, said the company’s next potential acquisitions “are all within our markets.” They include store chains of five to 40 locations. Van Heel noted the prospective deals are “all very consistent” with what Monro has acquired and said in the past about its growth strategy.
