ATMC Names Best Training Programs

Oct. 12, 2015

The Automotive Training Managers Council (ATMC) has named Genuine Parts Company / NAPA Auto Parts the grand winner of its National Excellence in Training Award for 2015 for its program, "Store Operations Training."

Also receiving National Excellence in Training Awards are WheelTime Network for its program, "WheelTime University," and KPA for its program, "Conducting Effective Interviews."

ATMC annually bestows its prestigious National Excellence in Training Award to three industry firms based upon those firms' submissions to the Council for peer review.

The awards are designed to highlight the availability of very effective or innovative training and its importance to the success of the transportation industry.

"The judging was extremely close, with all entries separated by no more than sixteen points in the judges' mean averages," says Dave Milne, ATMC president.

The 2015 award recipients will be honored at the Automotive Training Managers Council reception held during the 2015 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (APPEX) and Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The reception will be at the Venetian Hotel / Sands Expo Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Industry sponsors for the event include Gates Corporation, ASE and the Auto Care Association. All with an interest in training are welcome to attend.
