Consumer Reports: The Best A/S Tires are...

As it does every year in its November issue (which comes out in September!), Consumer Reports has published its replacement tire recommendations.

This year, the magazine focused on all-season tires, and broke that segment into three categories: all-season, H-rated performance all-season and V-rated performance all season. CR's test results singled out three companies for outstanding products.

However, not all the tires that finished first, or tied for first, were recommended by CR. Find out why in -- Spoiler Alert -- Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich's latest blog, "Consumer Reports: Michelin, Continental and Pirelli Dominate Recent All-Season Tire Testing."

Along with CR's picks, Ulrich analyzes the results. Here's one hint: Two of the tires really stand out.
