Alliance Tire Group is offering free Tire Industry Association (TIA) Basic Farm Tire Service training kits to all new dealers and distributors who sell Alliance, Galaxy or Primex brand farm tires.
Alliance has already given the $295 kits to more than two dozen dealers in an effort to help all its farm tire dealers receive industry-approved safety training.
“This is one way we can contribute to our customers’ safety and success, as well as helping promote professionalism across the entire industry,” says Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing for Alliance Tire Americas Inc.
“There is the potential for too many accidents in dealing with large ag tires, and this program teaches the industry standard and approved methods for servicing them safely. We’d love to put these kits in the hands of all our dealers so they have a great tool to teach their personnel the proper procedures for this demanding work.
“If we can help every one of their employees have a safer and more productive experience at work, we’ve really accomplished something important,” he adds.
