Notes: Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series will run
the same tire set-up at Richmond this weekend. At this track in the spring,
teams ran a multi-zone tread tire on the right-side, with distinct tread compounds
on both the inboard two inches (endurance zone) and outboard 10 inches (traction
zone) of the tire, this right-side is a single compound tire, featuring the same compound
as the outboard from the spring race, which will give teams a grip increase.
As on most NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners
in their tires at Richmond.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East: Goodyear will also supply tires for the K& N Series race
at Richmond.
Teams are allowed to get two sets of tires each for the event – one for practice and one for
qualifying/race. Additionally, teams are allowed to bring one set of tires to the event
from home, though those tires must be used during practice.
