Prepare for Fall Car Care Month

Sept. 3, 2015

Shops, stores and auto care organizations can get started with plans for Fall Car Care Month and vehicle check events with one web click.

“Hosting a community car care event is a ‘no-pressure’ way to interact with current customers, attract new ones and demonstrate how an investment in auto care will keep their vehicles running better and longer,” says Rich White, executive director of the Car Care Council. “The Car Care Council has the tools to help local businesses take advantage of this valuable opportunity. All it takes is a quick trip to www.carcare.org to learn more.”

Inexpensive to conduct, community car care events can raise awareness of your business in the community, while growing your bottom line at the same time. To view a video on how to host an event, visit www.carcare.org/industry-participants/host-an-event. You can register your event on the Car Care Council’s website and request up to 100 inspection forms free of charge. The council has a map feature to make it easier for motorists to find an event in their area.

To make your event more visible, the Car Care Council will promote registered events through its various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale materials can be ordered through the council’s online catalog. Popular items include “Car Care Month” and “Event Today” banners. In addition, the council’s Car Care Guide can be ordered in bulk, ensuring you have a popular give-away item on hand for attendees.
