McWhorter’s Ltd. has opened its seventh location in Western Texas. The commercial tire dealer's newest outlet is in Midland, Texas.

Despite the depressed price of oil, McWhorter’s has targeted an expansion to Midland and Odessa for some time and views the local economy and location as a strong opportunity for sales decades from now.
Brandon Webb, manager of McWhorter’s Truck Center in Midland, says the new location enables the company to offer several benefits to commercial accounts. “McWhorter’s is the only Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Dealer that supports fleets roadside and crews on site. Operating 24/7 for emergencies, we deploy multiple tire service trucks throughout Midland and Odessa.”
The new 12- bay branch is located at 5514 N. FM 1788, directly between Midland and Odessa. McWhorter's handles tire repairs, sales, mounting, rotation, wheel balancing and more for all types of commercial vehicles.
McWhorter's was established in 1942 in Lubbock, TX as a tire dealer and service shop. Today, the company operates seven locations throughout Lubbock, Levelland and Midland.
