The sixth annual Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo hosted 2,261 registered visitors at the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama City, Panama, from July 16-18, 2015.
The event featured 210 tire, tire equipment and tire repair exhibitors from 69 countries. South and Central America accounted for 71% of the attendees, followed by Asia with 19%.
Some of the leading tire industry companies that exhibited included Euromaster S.A./ Michelin, Tiremaxx International Corp., Triangle Tyre, Sailun Tire, Marangoni Tread Latin America S.A., Hules Banda S.A. de C.V., Vipal Rubber Corp., Aeolus Tyre Co. Ltd., Elgi Rubber Co., JK Tornel S.A. de C.V., Petlas Tire Manufacturing and Trading Inc., Carlisle Tire (The Carlstar Group LLC), Industrias de Hule Galgo, Tech International, Apollo International Ltd. and Robert Bosch Panama S.A.

When asked which types of tires they were most interested in, 40% said agricultural tires, followed by passenger tires (25%). And when asked if they would be attending the exposition next year, 98% of the respondents answered yes.
