Atlantic Tire & Service, with three stores in Cary, Durham and Raleigh, N.C., has donated $25,000 to the Children’s Home Society.
The non-profit organization offers child welfare and family support services in North Carolina, and has been serving children and families since it was founded in 1902. It provides programs built on its mission of supporting the right of every child to a safe and permanent family, and since its inception, has placed over 15,000 children into loving homes.
Atlantic Tire & Service has been involved with more than 45 local non-profits and community-focused organizations over the past 17 years in business. Atlantic Tire & Service owner Anthony Blackman donates almost 11% of Atlantic Tire & Services’ yearly net revenue to philanthropic causes, notes the company.
“Just like other nonprofits we support, the Children’s Home Society provides life-changing services that impact our community every day,” says Blackman. “We hope that this donation will help more children find a secure and caring family of their own and assist with the invaluable family programs offered through the organization.”
