Carlstar names Michelin veteran vp

The Carlstar Group LLC has hired Thom Clark as its vice president of original equipment sales and emerging market development.

Clark comes to Carlstar after working previously for the Michelin Groupe as the managing director of Mexico, managing director of India and commercial director in North America.

“Thom has a unique industry experience in North America and International growth markets," says John Salvatore, CEO of Carlstar. "His experiences working together with executive leadership teams in building the most successful domestic and international sales organizations are well aligned to the Carlstar Group strategies. He comes to Carlstar with more than 18 years of sales and industry experience and shares the company's ‘Customer First’ vision."

Clark is a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in literature. He will be based out of the Cleveland, Ohio area.
