Tire Discounters Inc. is opening three new locations in the greater Chattanooga region this fall, and planning to add even more stores by the end of 2015.
Outlets in Hixson, Brainerd and Fort Oglethorpe are first on the company's agenda.
The retail stores follow the opening of a second Tire Discounters distribution center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., in the Greater Nashville area. (See: Tire Discounters to move HQ, add warehouse.)
"Based on the great success we have had in Nashville over the past year and the growth in Chattanooga, we think this will be a strong market for us," says Tire Discounters CEO Paul Brunner. "We'd love to have eight or nine locations in the Chattanooga market, however, our focus is not on just trying to be the biggest. Rather, we want to make sure we get the right people in place and build our business on world-class customer service."
