McCarthy Tire Service Co.'s purchase of Ragan Tire Group LLC does not include RDH Tire and Retread Co. (RDH) based in Cleveland, N.C.
Earlier this week McCarthy announced it has a purchase agreement to buy Ragan, and Modern Tire Dealer inquired whether it includes RDH, the 34th largest retreader in the U.S.
"Ragan Tire Group and RDH Tire & Retread are two separate entities and they will remain as such," says John McCarthy Jr., president of McCarthy Tire Service. "The combined resources of McCarthy Tire Service and Ragan Tire Group will focus on OTR tire sales and service to customers in the southeast."
