TGI adds Carlisle tires

Tire Group International LLC (TGI) will distribute Carlisle-branded tires in Latin America and the Caribbean.

TGI has reached an agreement with the Carlstar Group LLC (formerly CTP Transportation Products) to offer direct factory shipments as well as fill-in Carlisle-branded tires from its distribution center in Miami, Fla.

“We are very excited to be able to expand our product offering, adding a new quality and reliable tire line. This agreement will complement our existing product portfolio and will further solidify our position as a market leader in the distribution of quality tires in the region,” says Joaquin Gonzalez Jr., TGI’s president.

The Carlstar Group produces industrial belts, wheels, and specialty tires for agriculture,construction, industrial, outdoor power equipment, powersports, towables and trailers.
