Solideal Tire has been named "Supplier of the Year" by Nissan Forklift Corp. of North America.
The award is given to a single supplier out of almost 150 suppliers Nissan uses for its daily production requirements, Solideal says.
Nissan suppliers are scored in categories such as quality and rejected parts rate, cost reduction planning and implementation, on time and correct deliveries, reaction time and follow-up on requests and corrective actions.
Solideal has been a recipient of an award from Nissan every year since Nissan began tracking supplier performances, says the company.
