Federated honors Bill Maggs

June 2, 2015

Federated Auto Parts has presented its Art Fisher Memorial Award to Bill Maggs, president and CEO of National Pronto Association and co-CEO of the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group).

“The Art Fisher Memorial Award honors individuals that encourage collaboration, growth and support of our membership, not just when the direction aligns exactly with their own, but when the decisions made are deemed best for all,” says Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts and co-CEO of The Group.

“While it may seem a little outside the box, the choice to honor Bill was clear and unanimous. We are proud to recognize him for identifying opportunities to create value and ensuring that the combined efforts of The Group benefit the entire membership as well as our supplier partners.”

Each year since 2005, an individual or individuals that exemplify Fisher’s dedication to the membership, the group and the industry have been honored with the esteemed Art Fisher Memorial award.

The National Pronto Association and Federated Auto Parts agreed to merge efforts and resources in December 2014. For details, link to: “Federated and Pronto announce merger” and “Group outlines program benefits of merger.”
