Christine Karbowiak has been named to the board of directors for Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. (BSAH), effective Jan. 1, 2009.
Karbowiak, vice president of community and corporate relations for BSAH, will become the first woman to serve on a Bridgestone Group board.
The announcement is related to a number of other BSAH personnel moves that will go into effect next year (see "Bridgestone Americas announces MAJOR restructuring," Oct. 14, 2008).
