Griffin Brothers rolls out reward program

Charlotte-based tire and auto service retailer, Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair has launched a customer reward program at its 10 stores to thank loyal customers for their business and to attract new customers with offers of popular reward currencies.

The program employs a multi-currency reward format that allows customers to choose from a selection of popular reward currencies, including various travel miles, gift card points or Griffin Brothers’ own in-house reward currency, Griffin Brothers Points.

“Our customers are our most important asset,” says Griffin Brothers’ General Manager Russ Carter. “We want them to know how valuable they are to us and we want to give them a best-in-class experience when entrusting their vehicles to us. We realize customers have many options of where to purchase tires and have their vehicles serviced. This is another reason we wanted to offer a meaningful rewards program that can help swing the odds even more in our favor.”

The retailer chose Lift & Shift Inc.’s multi-currency reward platform after having met Lift & Shift representatives at the North Carolina Tire Dealers Trade Association event in March 2013. Lift & Shift bundles access to a number of popular consumer reward programs, enabling participating merchants to reward customers using a reward currency of the customer’s choosing. Because the Lift & Shift platform includes reward programs that have over 120 million members combined, participating merchants also are able to attract new customers to their locations from program members who are interested in adding more miles or points to their favorite program account balance. Participating programs include American Airlines AAdvantage, Holiday Inn’s Priority Club, United Airlines Mileage Plus and Gift Card Points – all available through Lift & Shift.

Lift & Shift also administers the proprietary “Griffin Brothers Points” currency as part of the program selection. These points can be redeemed for free products and services at Griffin Brothers locations or donated to non-profit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, The SPCA of Greater Charlotte and the Charlotte Region Hospice and Palliative Care. Program administration is facilitated through an integration between Lift & Shift and Griffin Brothers’ point-of-sale software provider, Andreoli & Associates.
