Centric Parts adds three managers

Centric Parts has added three members to its management staff. The company says the moves are being made to keep apace of Centric’s steady growth in both the scale and scope of its North American operations.

“We feel we’ve positioned ourselves very well to manage our current and future growth,” says Centric CEO and President Dan Lelchuk. “The addition of these key new team members adds even more strength to our management team. Alan, Sri and Moe bring with them considerable expertise in certain key areas, supporting Centric’s push to stay ahead of the competition.”

The new team members include:

Srinivas (Sri) Adusumilli, vice president of information technology (IT)

Sri arrives with more than 20 years of IT leadership. His experience includes stints at Hino Motors USA as head of IT and most recently with Dana Corp. as global IT leader. He also has published books and articles covering various aspects of IT strategy. Sri holds a master's degree in computer science, as well as certificates in various disciplines including Six Sigma. Sri assumes responsibility for the many IT projects in process now, as well as spearheading efforts related to QA, MRP and ERP solutions appropriate for the growing business.

Alan Leukhardt, engineering manager

Alan brings more than 25 years of engineering and quality management experience including all of the required phases of TS 16949 and APQP. His previous experience includes management of the engineering operations at Saleen among other things. Alan assumes immediate responsibility for managing current projects within the engineering department, as well as working on developing new opportunities and technologies, and expanding and strengthening Centric’s capabilities in both brake and chassis.

Mohit (Moe) Uppal, vice president of global supply chain management

Moe comes to Centric with more than 15 years of experience in new product launch management, encompassing global procurement, vendor/purchasing/inventory management, lean manufacturing strategies, production, P/L responsibility, IT leadership and more. Moe has an MBA, as well as a master's degree in industrial engineering. His experience includes engineering positions with American Axle & Manufacturing, and for the last eight years, various leadership positions with Dana. Moe assumes responsibility for corporate-wide procurement strategies, focusing on forecasting, processes, technology, analysis, supplier scorecards, optimizing working capital as it relates to inventory, acquisition integration and more.
