In Canada, Kia dealerships will sell Michelin tires

April 30, 2015

In Canada, Michelin North America Inc. has entered into an agreement with Kia Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Kia Motors Corp. to sell replacement tires at its auto dealerships across the country.

"Through this agreement, Kia has ensured that their dealerships across the country have a top-tier tire brand synonymous with safety to offer their drivers," says Sylvaine Cuniberti, marketing director for Michelin North America in Canada.

The announcement comes soon after the Michelin Premier LTX tire launched April 14 at Michelin Canada's signature Spring Safety Event, featuring the 2016 Kia Sorento SX.

"We are thrilled to have Michelin North America as part of our national account program," says John Stoian, director of parts and after sales for Kia Canada Inc. "This partnership is a natural fit and one that will facilitate added business for Kia dealerships across Canada, providing customers a tire brand, like Michelin, that focuses on road safety and doesn't compromise on quality."

Kia says it has 188 dealers across Canada.
