ASA adds vendor tracking to TireMaster

April 16, 2015

ASA Automotive Systems has added vendor 1099 tracking and reporting to its TireMaster software.

The company says version 8.9 of its TireMaster software includes the ability to store a taxpayer ID number in a vendor record, identify if the supplier is a 1099 vendor, and indicate if their form W-9 is on file.

At tax time, or any time, authorized users can print a report to see how much they have paid their 1099 vendors.  This report makes completing IRS form 1099 Misc much easier, according to ASA.

In addition, the report may be saved as a .csv file for importing into tax preparation software.

The company says TireMaster software is already fully integrated with PenSoft Payroll, an easy-to-use application that tracks wages, deductions, income tax and attendance in-house. It makes current state and federal payroll information readily available, distributing updated tax tables and filing requirements throughout the year.

Using PenSoft with TireMaster eliminates the need for an outside payroll service, and its direct-deposit options help avoid costly check printing fees.

“Because PenSoft is integrated with TireMaster, there is no additional, manual data entry,” says Dave Vogel, vice president of sales. “When you’re done with payroll, you simply transfer the entries electronically from PenSoft to TireMaster, and it updates both the general ledger and the check register automatically.”

PenSoft Payroll is developed and distributed by Peninsula Software of Virginia Inc. More information is at www.pensoft.com.
