ETD Discount Tire Centers Inc. has promoted Dennis Calaff to vice president of operations from his previous position as general manager of the ETD Discount Tire store in Lyndhurst, N.J.
Calaff joined ETD in June 1996 as a management trainee. Within four months he was promoted to assistant manager at the ETD Discount Tire Lyndhurst store. The following year he was named store manager, and in 2002 he was promoted to general manager.
In his new role, Calaff will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at each of ETD Discount Tire’s seven locations in northern New Jersey (in Butler, Clifton, Denville, Englewood, Hillsdale, Lyndhurst and Wayne). He will focus on consistency between each store and assisting the store managers in ensuring ETD Discount Tire continues to give customers the best service possible, the company says.
Calaff is a Certified ASE C1 Service Consultant.
