Pirelli & Cie SpA plans to invest an additional 250 million euros in its Romanian operations in order to grow its business in Eastern Europe.
"The new investment follows investments of 250 million euros made over the last five years to create an automotive pole with plants" for the production of passenger tires and other products.
The influx of capital will be used to boost production capacities.
