DOC delays final tariff rulings until June
The final determinations in both the countervailing (CV) and anti-dumping (AD) duty cases on Chinese tires now are scheduled to be issued June 12, 2015.
A U.S. Department of Commerce spokesman confirmed the countervailing duty rule, which was to be issued April 6, has been delayed and aligned with the anti-dumping final determination in June.
Aligning the timelines and final determinations is “fairly typical when we have companion AD and CV cases,” the spokesman said.
The actual request to align the timelines was filed in November by the United Steelworkers.
