Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is adding new sizes to its Wrangler and Fortera tire lines.
The Wrangler SilentArmor, a premium on- and off-road tire featuring a layer made with DuPont Kevlar, will be available in six new sizes:
* P235/75R16,
* P265/65R17,
* P285/70R17,
* P245/75R17,
* P265/65R18 and
* P265/70R18.
In the fall, the Wrangler MT/R, an off-road tire featuring Goodyear's Durawall Technology, will be available in four new sizes: 255/55R19, LT265/70R17, LT245/75R17 and LT275/65R18.
Goodyear says the expansion of its Fortera lineup reflects the need for SUV and CUV tires. Two new sizes have been added to the Fortera TripleTred line: 235/55R18 and P265/60R18.
Eight new sizes, which target crossover vehicles, have been added to the Fortera SilentArmor line. Six are 18-inch sizes: P255/70R18, P235/65R18, P265/65R18, P235/60R18, 235/55R18 and 255/55R18. A new 16-inch size (P225/70R16) and 17-inch size (225/65R17) also are available.
