TBC Corp. promotes Olsen to CEO and president of TBC Wholesale Group

TBC Corp. reports Ken Dick, CEO and president of TBC Wholesale Group, is retiring effective Oct. 1, 2008.

He will be replaced by Erik Olsen, who will retain his titles of executive vice president and chief marketing officer of TBC Corp. He reports to Larry Day, CEO and chairman of the board.

Dick will remain a member of TBC’s board of directors and will continue to be associated with the TBC Wholesale Group in the role of vice chairman.

He has served TBC in managerial and executive positions since 1971 and was named president and CEO of the company’s Wholesale Division in November 2003.

Olsen joined TBC in December 2004 from Michelin North America Inc. where he served in a series of senior management positions. Prior to joining Michelin in 1996, he held marketing and sales positions with Ralston Foods, The Clorox Co. and Procter & Gamble.
