The numbers are in for the China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) 2008, which was held Sept. 17-19 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center.
The sixth annual event, organized by Reliable International Exhibition Services Co. Ltd., pulled in 6,860 registered visitors. Of those, 4,076 were domestic visitors and 2,784 were from 88 other countries.
There were 311 exhibitors, and exhibition space totaled 18,000 square meters compared to 15,000 square meters last year (a 20% growth). The number of exhibitors rebooked during the show for CITEXPO 2009 was 150, and 70% of the exhibition space has already sold.
Next year's show will be held in the same venue on Sept. 9-11.
