Pep Boys Makes Toys for Tots Donation

Dec. 26, 2019

Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack recently donated $25,000 to the Toys for Tots organization.

The chain, which is owned by Icahn Automotive Group LLC, also placed collection bins at nearly 1,000 of its locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Customers who donated at Pep Boys locations received a coupon for $25 off their next purchase of parts, accessories and service.

In addition, several Pep Boys stores hosted car shows and community days to help drive toy donations. A Pep Boys location in Woodbury, N.J., gave both children and family pets the opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa Claus.

"Our Pep Boys teams really embraced the spirit of giving," says Chris Fox, CEO-Parts. "The holidays are a busy time for our stores, and our teams worked extra hard this season to make sure their Toys for Tots collections were a success."

"Pep Boys' support of our program has helped fill the gap that was left by fewer brick-and-mortar locations serving as collection points," says Ted Silvester, vice president of marketing and development, Toys for Tots.
