Sullivan Tire Co. Inc. has expanded its wholesale operations with the opening of a new location in Concord, N.H.
Michael Smith, manager of Sullivan Tire's wholesale center in Auburn, N.H., will oversee operations in Concord. Operations at the new location began Oct. 15.
“The strategic acquisition of Concord allows us to increase our efficiencies and level of service to our customers,” says Joe Zaccheo, chief operating officer.
Sullivan Tire's wholesale division employs 135 people at 14 distribution centers in five states. Those centers stock 22 tire brands and employees deliver to wholesale customers throughout New England.
In addition to the wholesale business, Sullivan Tire operates 73 retail locations under the Sullivan Tire and Auto Service banner, plus 15 commercial truck centers, three retread plants, 2 LiftWorks facilities and two distribution centers. The company has more than 1,200 employees in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine
