During its recent global partner conference event in Jingmen, China, Shandong Linglong Tire Co. shared details about its new, Hubei Linglong Tire Co. Ltd. radial truck and bus tire manufacturing plant.
The facility "will effectively promote the company's transformation and upgrading to intelligent production and high-end oriented products." The plant, which is Linglong's fourth domestic manufacturing facility, will produce 2.4 million truck and bus tires a year at full capacity. It also manufactures passenger car and OTR tires.
In addition to its facilities in China, Linglong has a plant in Thaliand and another in Serbia.
Linglong Chairman Wang Feng told attendees that the company plans to accelerate the construction of other projects, striving for early completion of the Hubei facility. "Meanwhile, the company will continue to advance its 5+3 Global Layout," which calls for the establishment of five Chinese manufacturing plants and three manufacturing plants outside of China.
"With the advancement of Linglong's global industrial layout, the company will seek more far-reaching and pragmatic cooperation with our partners in technology research and development, global supply chain and market resource sharing to ensure the high-quality development of Linglong's internationalization," said Feng.
Linglong also announced that it will "apply" digital marketing capabilities to its retail channel and continue to invest in technology innovations and brand promotion, with the goal of creating "greater profits for (its) distributors."
