Schrader Unveils EZ-Sensor GO TPMS Sensor

Nov. 26, 2019

Schrader TPMS Solutions says its new EZ-Sensor GO tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor will be available during the second quarter of 2020.

The sensor, which is offered in both a rubber snap-in and an aluminum clamp-in configuration, “offers faster programming speeds for a majority of domestic vehicles, and offers 97% vehicle coverage,” according to John McGrane, Schrader’s marketing communications manager.

The rubber and aluminum models include the same technology, he says. “The difference is in the valve stem,” notes McGrane. “The aluminum clamp-in sensor includes an adjustable angle stem to allow fitment into more rims and also is rated for over 200 miles per hour.”

The EZ-Sensor GO is compatible with “a majority of market-leading TPMS programming/diagnostic tools that shops could already own,” including tools offered by Bartec and other suppliers, he continues.

Schrader displayed the EZ-Sensor Go and its configurations during the recent Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev.
