Bridgestone Americas Inc. has acquired Tires Inc., a two-store commercial tire dealership in Washington State, and has added the company to its GCR Tires & Service network.
“As part of the GCR network, both acquired locations will continue to offer a full range of commercial and consumer vehicle services and will feature the complete portfolio of Bridgestone and Firestone products for the commercial trucking, agriculture, construction and mining industries, as well as passenger and light truck,” say Bridgestone officials.
In addition, the Chehalis location will continue to produce Bandag retreads.
“The Pacific Northwest is a rapidly growing region for fleet transportation, and the acquisition of Tires Inc. will further strengthen our ability to provide best-in-class tires and service to customers in the area,” says Chris Ripani, president, GCR.
