Hunter Partners With Vehicle Outfitter for Mobile Tire Service

Nov. 1, 2019

Hunter Engineering Co. will highlight mobile tire service in its booth at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show thanks to a new partnership with Bush Specialty Vehicles Inc. Hunter's booth is located just inside the entrance of the lower South Hall, No. 41013.

And, Bush Specialty Vehicles will display a fully equipped van in its booth (No. 44298) at the show. The van will be outfitted with a TC37 tire changer and SmartWeight Pro wheel balancer.

“We’re extremely excited to partner with Hunter Engineering to bring this mobile tire and repair van solution to the marketplace,” says Larry Vanover, president of Bush Specialty Vehicles. “Built around Hunter’s industry leading tire changing and wheel balancing equipment, this van is fully equipped with everything you need, including the technology for payment transactions. To make it even easier, we offer lease-to-own options for the full solution – van, upfit and equipment.”

Tire manufacturers and tire dealers are both experimenting with mobile tire service in trying to serve busy consumers. The Auto Care Factbook 2020 and IMR Inc. surveyed motorists about why they delayed needed maintenance for their vehicles. “Couldn’t find a convenient time” was the second highest response given on average at 20.2% of the time.
