Max Finkelstein Inc. is expanding its footprint to the west with the opening of a new distribution center near Pittsburgh, Pa. It's already serving customers in Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. The 116,000-square-foot facility is in Imperial, Pa. (200 Solar Drive), and it's Max Finkelstein's westernmost location.
The company believes the market available from this location, not far from the Pittsburgh International Airport, "provides an ideal strategic fit" for its business model.
And the expansion comes as Max Finkelstein embarks on its second century of business. Founded in 1919, the tire distributor sells consumer, commercial and specialty tires from many brands, including Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly, Bridgestone, Firestone, Fuzion, Pirelli, Kumho, Falken, Ohtsu, Kenda, Presa, GT Radial and Carlisle.
