Tire Group International LLC (TGI) is using its Miami warehouse as a staging ground to collect donations to help the people affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.
TGI is collecting non-perishable goods to ship to those in urgent need. The tire wholesaler says it is coordinating efforts with local business partners and religious organizations to respond quickly.
“I am deeply saddened to see the devastation of what is other-wise a tropical paradise, not only from a natural beauty perspective, but because of its people and their joyful outlook on life, at TGI we will do all we can to help our brothers and sisters rebuild," says Tony Gonzalez, CEO of TGI. "The ability to rebuild is a blessing, so long as we keep the faith, the future will be as bright as ever.”
