Mike Carr Is Cardone’s New CEO

Former Johnson Controls Inc. executive Mike Carr is the new CEO of Cardone Industries Inc.

His appointment is effective immediately.

Carr’s experience includes 23 years at Johnson Controls in several senior leadership positions and almost 4 years at Axalta Coating Systems LLC, where he served as president of the company’s North America and Americas divisions.

Cardone says Carr’s experience spans many strategic areas including finance, customer relationships, operations, business growth and employee engagement.

Carr currently serves on the Board of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

Cardone said former CEO Stan Gowisnock is leaving the company.

Based in Philadelphia, Pa., Cardone is a privately-held automotive parts remanufacturer offering more than 90 product lines and 46,000 SKUs of automotive hard parts. The company has over 5,500 employees and facilities in California, Arizona, Texas, Mexico and Canada.
