Michelin North America Inc. has introduced a new tire, the Michelin Latitude Tour, that is "uniquely designed" for crossover vehicles, say Michelin officials.
The Latitude Tour "accentuates the features that make (crossover) vehicles so popular."
"Many people buy these vehicles because they are typically more efficient and comfortable than an SUV, yet they still demand truck-like strength and versatility," says John Soule, light truck brand category manager, Michelin Americas Small Tires.
The tire contains Michelin's proprietary MaxTouch Construction that delivers improved tread life, among other features. It comes with a 65,000-mile limited warranty.
