Continental AG will receive extensive TV exposure during the 2010 World Cup soccer tournament.

Some 260 qualification group matches will be played in Europe during the event and Continental's name will appear on signs at more than 170 of those matches.

"This sponsorship package will help us boost brand awareness for Continental's premium tires in core markets," say Continental officials.
