Store Expansion Continues at Tire Discounters

June 28, 2019

One of the fastest growing independent retail tire chains is at it again. Tire Discounters Inc. has opened a second location in the metro Indianapolis area, upping its store count to 121.

The new store opened on June 22 in Noblesville, Ind. It employs 15 local people, including sales professionals, management, and ASE certified automotive technicians that perform all undercar and underhood automotive maintenance services.

Tire Discounters says it is hiring entry-level and experienced folks for the five additional Indianapolis area stores it plans to open in 2019.

Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis welcomes Tire Discounters, ranked sevent on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list of independent tire dealers in the U.S., to the area.

"At Lincoln Tech, our automotive program is preparing students for rewarding, in-demand careers in the automotive industry," says Donovan Morgan, career services advisor at Lincoln Tech Indianapolis. "Tire Discounters is bringing more high paying jobs to central Indiana, and that’s a win for everyone."

Eldon Riggs, the tire dealership's director of retail operations, says Tire Discounters isn’t your average retailer. "We go beyond what’s expected for our customers because at 70 miles an hour, those details matter."

Part of that philosophy includes offering a free alignment with every four-tire purchase with standard installation.

Tire Discounters employs more than 1,200 people in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. For more information, visit www.tirediscounters.com.
