Ceat Specialty Tires Inc. has hired Carlos Acosta as business development manager for Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. The company began marketing and selling its radial and bias farm tires in North America in 2017.
“We’ve made rapid progress in North America and adding Carlos Acosta to the team will help us expand our distribution footprint to the south,” says Tarang Srivastava, general manager of Ceat. “He has excellent experience in ag and OTR tires, along with a proven track record in helping his customers achieve their business goals.”
Acosta has spent 28 years in tire industry, and previously worked as Latin American sales manager for Taray International Corp. where he handled sales of farm, off-the-road (OTR), industrial and other tire types.
