TBC Updates Sumitomo HTR Enhance Lineup

TBC Brands LLC is updating the Sumitomo HTR Enhance line for the performance tire market with three products and 82 sizes for fitments on passenger cars, CUVs and SUVs.

The Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2 is immediately available to tire dealers. It replaces the L/X; the all-season touring tire is designed to provide enhanced ride comfort in a variety of road conditions. It comes in 43 passenger sizes.

The HTR Enhance CX2 and WX2 will become available in the second quarter of 2019. The Enhance CX2 replaces the C/X and is for SUV and CUV owners who need a tough tire for heavy loads, with a balance of providing year-round performance. It will be available in 25 sizes.

The Enhance WX2 is an ultra-high performance tire. It will be available in 14 sizes for sedans and CUVs and provide predictable handling, all-season traction and precise cornering. In all, the three tires will be available in sizes for 15-inch to 22-inch wheels.

All three Sumitomo HTR Enhance tires will come with a warranty protection package:

  • LX2: 90,000 mile limited treadwear warranty for all T-rated sizes and 75,000 mile limited treadwear warranty for all H- and V-rated sizes;
  • CX2: 65,000 mile limited treadwear warranty for all sizes;
  • WX2: 55,000 mile limited treadwear warranty for all sizes;
  • 45-day free test drive;
  • two-year, 24/7 roadside assistance coverage; and
  • free lifetime defect replacement.
