Discount Tire added 55 stores nationwide in 2018, with nine outlets opened in December alone.
The latest store openings occurred in six states: Arkansas, Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin and Virginia. The cities and the dates of the store openings follow:
Watauga, Texas – Dec. 10
San Antonio, Texas - Dec. 21
Jacksonville, N.C. - Dec. 21
Denton, Texas – Dec. 24
Plano, Texas – Dec. 24
Olathe, Kan. – Dec. 26
Madison, Wis. – Dec. 28
Bristol, Va. – Dec. 31
North Little Rock, Ark. – Dec. 31
The company now has 1,020 stores. The parent company, Reinalt-Thomas Corp., does business as Discount Tire (and America’s Tire in parts of California). The 1,000th Discount Tire store was opened on Sept. 10, 2018.
