Michelin Aircraft Tire Co.'s Norwood, N.C., plant has manufactured its three millionth tire. The Norwood facility supplies tires for the Space Shuttle.
The plant, which was established in 1986 and manufactures tires for other aircraft, currently employs 360 people.
