Fountain Tire to add store in Grande Prairie

Dec. 27, 2007

Fountain Tire will open a new store in Grande Prairie, Alberta, on Jan. 2. The shop will complement an older Fountain Tire store in the town.

"We have simply outgrown the (existing) single location," which opened in 1982, says Manager Don Lindsay.

"Having a second facility in town will ensure our customers continue to receive top notch service."

Fountain Tire managers like Lindsay are 50% owners of the stores they operate.

The new Grand Prairie location occupies 15,000 square feet and contains 12 bays, including three drive-through truck bays.

Fountain Tire stores has 131 locations throughout the western part of Canada.
