Terry Edwards has been named vice president of Kumho Tire Co. Inc.'s research and development facility in the United States. In his new position, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Kumho America Technical Center in Fairlawn, Ohio.
Prior to joining Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc., Edwards spent 30 years with Continental Tire North America Inc. He was most recently manufacturing manager for passenger and light truck tires at the company's Mount Vernon, Ill., manufacturing plant.
In his career at Continental, he also served as director of North American research and development and director of replacement tire product development in Charlotte, N.C.
