Bridgestone/Firestone sponsors SEMA media center

Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC will sponsor the media center at the 2002 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 4-8.

"The SEMA Show has grown significantly in importance over the past few years. We want to support SEMA and its efforts within the

automotive industry," says Phil Pacsi, executive director of consumer tire brand marketing for Bridgestone/Firestone's North American Consumer Tire Sales Group.

"Sponsorship of the SEMA Show media center is a wonderful opportunity for us to promote our performance passenger car and light truck tire lines to the more than 700 members of the worldwide automotive press who will be attending this show."

Last year, Michelin North America Inc. sponsored the media center.

As part of the high-profile sponsorship, Bridgestone/Firestone brand recognition will be featured on billboard kiosks inside the media

center and throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the International Tire Expo will be held.
