Bridgestone Metalpha U.S.A. Inc., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc., has named Donna Bright plant manager of the company's Clarksville, Tenn., steel cord facility. The promotion will go into effect Aug. 16.
"She's a natural," says Bridgestone Metalpha President Kenji Yamasaki. "She has a proven record of experience in leadership."
Bright joined the company in 1996 during the plant's start-up. She most recently was leadership development coordinator.
The plant manufactures steel cord for steel-belted radial tire production.
