Nov. 1, 2007

Techking Tires Ltd., a China-based tire company, displayed three new large OTR tires on the Tire Industry Association Performance Tires & Wheels trade show.

1. ETLDD2. The L5 tire's rugged, square-shouldered design offers driving stability and cut resistance. The aggressive, open tread pattern provides grip and traction.

It also features a groove stone ejector and tapered shoulder lugs that are self-cleaning.

The tire is available in five radial sizes: 23.5R25, 26.5R25, 29.5R25, 29.5R29 and 35/65R33.

2. ETADT. The tread pattern is engineered to provide good traction, flotation and operation comfort. In addition, the tire has a cool operating temperature.

Techking describes the long-wearing tire as having low rolling resistance for fuel economy, plus an even-wearing tread pattern. It is available in three sizes: 26.5R25, 29.5R25 and 29.5R29.

3. ETGC. The main features of the ETGC are good operator comfort, high speed cababilities, and good traction on all surfaces, according to the company.

Designed for use on cranes, trucks, flatbads and fire and rescue vehicles, the tire is available in six sizes: 385/95R24, 385/95R25, 445/95R25, 445/80R25, 525/80R25 and 505/95R25.
