Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will bestow its Dunlop Maxxed Out Awards at next week's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.
Winners will be announced Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. at the Dunlop booth in the South Hall of the Las Vegas (Nev.) Convention Center.
Goodyear officials say the company has expanded the contest to include VIP-style sedans, import and domestic performance cars for street use; race-prepped vehicles; "the perfect wheel and tire combination;" and the overall Maxxed Out Award, which goes to "the most spectacular creation on Dunlop tires."
By adding new categories, "we are refinforcing our product focus on tuned vehicles, European sports sedans and competition cars," says Gary Medalis, general manager for Dunlop in North America.
