Bobit Business Media, parent company of Modern Tire Dealer, plans to acquire the assets of World of Special Finance, as well as a conference and Web sites associated with the monthly publication.
World of Special Finance serves the subprime lending market. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Bobit officials say the addition will "strengthen Bobit Business Media's position in the automotive dealer market."
